As the Clinical Director, you are responsible for directing and managing the overall provision of nursing services to patients and families for the assigned nursing staff and service area, as well as overseeing staff assignments to ensure continuity of care, coverage during absence or staffing shortages, and that services delivered are within each team member's scope of practice. You will also serve as a member of the Clinical Leadership team, and maintain and nurture a highly competent, motivated, and productive staff.

We are currently seeking a FT LPN – Palliative Care for our Roanoke based service area.
As the LPN in our Palliative Care Department, you will be responsible for the provision of nursing care to patients according to an established physician plan of care, with service delivery under the direction of The Medical Director and in compliance with applicable state Nurse Practice regulations and Good Samaritan policy and procedure. You will assist the provider with coordination of care, schedule patient visits as needed, and conduct follow up and phone calls to patients.

We are currently seeking a FT social worker for our Roanoke service area.
As a social worker you will be working on a dynamic and engaged interdisciplinary team going into private homes and facilities. The social worker will be focused on assessing the psychosocial needs of both the hospice patient and their family members during end stage illnesses. You will be helping to develop and carry out a plan of care that attends to the unique psychosocial/ emotional/spiritual needs of the patient and family. The social worker will provide counseling related to role changes/losses, stress and identified coping difficulties of both the patient and caregiver. The social worker will collaborate with community resources, as needed, to meet the patient and family needs.

We are currently seeking a FT Admission Nurse for our Roanoke based service area.
As an Admission Nurse, you will assess a patient’s needs and complete admission for service as appropriate, as well as complete admissions paperwork, and electronic charting in accordance with GSH guidelines. You will also work closely with the intake department, as well as the supervisor, to ensure the admission process is completed in a prompt and timely fashion, and in accordance with admissions policies and procedures
We are seeking individuals who are licensed as a RN in the State of Virginia, and has at least one year experience in Hospice or ICU.
This position will have a schedule of 4, 10 hour shifts or 3, 12 hour shifts, with rotating hours of 10 AM- 8:30 PM, or 12 PM - 10:30 PM. Weekend availability required once a month.
